Hi, I just want to take this opportunity to promote the National Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame. I hate to hear of large fish being caught but not correctly documented, so I want everyone to Know about the NFWFHF's record programs. They qualify records in both kept fish and catch and release categories, and have divisions for line class, fly fishing, ice-fishing, and cane pole. The catch and release records records are qualified in length only with release of the fish unharmed a high priority. There are countless record opportunities, and every year records are broken but not qualified because the angler is unaware of the NFWFHF. To contact the Hall write to: National Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame, Box 33, Hall of Fame Drive, Hayward WI, 54843 USA or call: 715-634-4440. I found the NFWFHF record book to be very interesting reading, and hope you do too.

P.S. Another record keeping organization is IGFA. They qualify records for both fresh and salt water. IGFA can be contacted at: International Game Fish Association, 1301 East Atlantic Blvd., Pompano Beach, Florida 33060 USA. It is possible to qualify the same record with both organizations, but unfortunitaly many people don't. Both of these organizations do much more than keep record, and

should be contacted to find out more about them.
