After the sea-conditions calmed down following this past weeks' Nor'easter that pelted New England, two of our cod vessels made it back out to the Bank on Sunday. Capt. Scott's "Decisive" was first to the shoal water with the Pepe Leyva charter From Boston, MA. Pepe's group found jigs and teasers to be the best producers. The 6-15# cod were gourged with herring. Capt. Ken took his group to the east and found little in the deep-water. The feeding activity on the bank increased again after the tide change. Today, March 3, Capt. Ken guided John Mosca's group from Brooklyn, NY into some good-sized medium cod east of the bank in the deep-water. The shoals were barren.
