Wrapped olive chenille with black hackle |

Step 1. Wrap thick wire around hook shank to add weight as in picture. Enlarge or lessen wire amount to your particular needed depth range. |
Step 2. Secure wire into place. |

Step 3. Cut a piece of marabou to the length of the hook and tie on as shown in picture. |
Step 4. Tie on long piece of black saddle hackle by the tip not the butt so that the hackle's tips will stick backwards when wrapped. |
Step 5. Tie on long piece of olive chenille. |

Step 6. Wind thread to eye of hook. Wind chenille to thread and tie down. Cut off excess chenille. |
Step 7. Wind hackle around hook. Cut off excess. |
Step 8. Wip finish and glue head. |
