Fly Fishing for Bass
If you think bass fight well on a spinning or baitcast rod, you gotta se 'em fight on a fly rod!!!
We usually fly fish for smallmouth bass in the Nith River in Ontario. We fly fish for largemouth bass in Eagle L. in Wisconsin. We both agree that we would trade 3 bass on a spinning or baitcast rod for just one on a fly rod.
What is a Funky Chicken?
You will notice that we use this term, Funky Chicken, quite a bit in this page. A funky chicken is what we call a self-designed fly. Our good friend Brian came up with this term and now we find ourselves using it quite often.
