Stickbaits and Crankbaits for Pike
Stickbaits and crankbaits, such as Rapalas and Rebels, should be at least three inches long. If you are going for monsters, you can use 8-12 inch long baits. When fishing for pike with either of these two kinds of baits, in a floating version, let it sit on the top until the ripples from where it landed mostly clear away. If using a sinking version in not very deep water start to real in as soon as possible, so as to avoid snags. However in deeper water you can let it sink for a couple of seconds to deepen your retrieve level.
