Walleye are usually not very good fighters but as soon as they see the boat they will give you some excitement. We usually fish for walleye, Stizostedion, in deep lakes such as Big Sand L. in northern Wisconsin and Cyprus L. right here in southern Ontario. However, they also can be found in rivers and some streams.
