Although I have personally caught Lakers throught the summer months, during the month of May large schools of lakers can be found in the cool waters off the east side of Presque Isle around the area known as the mountain in 70 to 75 feet of water. As the water warms, they move to deeper cooler water around the NY, PA, Canada borders.
