A nice River Flathead I caught 10-8-2002, on cut sucker
The above pic is not a very good one, but it does show my Biggest Flathead ever. It was caught 8-18-2002, and weighed 50-lbs.
I caught the beast on Cut, frozen Shad..It was a good year for cut bait, as I caught over 80 percent of my Flatheads on cut this year.
I used an ABU Garcia 6500, Quantum Bigcat MH, and 30-lb test Excell mono to catch this fish. In years past I caught most of my Flatheads on live bait, but after this year, I will be using cut, much more often!

8-lb Channel Cat I caught 6-29-02. The fish came from Paint Creek, and was caught on cut frozen Shad.
